Video Spam to Attack Video Messaging and Video Sites
No wonder spammers find the joint in the armour sending frequent email spam to you. Out of sight you have no idea how to protect your email box or video site against these muggles. Folks just took up arms to diminish this curse, when all of a sudden video spam was created and launched to irritate web users.
Don’t want to upset you, but spam will never fade away. You will probably have to expect video spam by means of your daily video site. According to an ex-spammer X, “This is a cat and mouse game so the filters will change and the next generation will have to contend with video content – how do you filter an mpeg? You won’t get email spam in 20 years time but they’ll find different mechanisms to exploit.”
Video spammers will hijack those communications facilities that are around like internet telephony and video messaging services. “By 2015 we’ll have video spam and by 2020 it will be a huge problem,” he added. “If you think images are a problem then imagine a 60 second advert for Viagra at 25 frames per second – there’s no current technology to stop this.”
Anyway I believe filter technology will be smart enough to weed out useless ad and spam altogether. At the same time videos may contain a list of misleading keywords including sexually explicit terms, “Harry Potter”, and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Spam requires ambulant therapy. No time to waste and put up with spam.
