Top 5 Expensive Music Videos Ever

Music videos have become an important part of promoting an artist. That is why singers and bands do not spare neither strength nor resources to make the best, the most unexpected and the catchiest video. But such a video clip requires a lot of money, sometimes budget of the music video can be compared with the one for a movie. Below are Top 5 expensive music videos in the world.
1.    Puff Daddy featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes – Victory. It is not a secret that every rap singer wants to stand out wasting thus large sums of money. In this video they joined not only their talents but their purses as well. Such a cooperation resulted in $ 2,7 million.

2.    Guns N’ Roses – Estranged. The video has become a final part of unofficial trilogy of videos. The price of the clip is $ 4 million. The sum is quite understandable as participation of bottlenose dolphins, SWAT members and oil tanker in the video is too pricey.

3.    Madonna – Die Another Day. The song was released alongside the James Bond film of the same name. The video shows Madonna being tortured in a number of ways while Good Madonna and Bad Madonna duel with a variety of weapons—from fencing foils to harpoon guns—in her subconscious. The total production costs for the video were over $6 million making it the third expensive music video ever.

4.    Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson – Scream. I would call this video no less than a black and white science fiction/pop masterpiece. Both Jacksons dancing along the walls and ceilings of a spaceship while anime and pop art are featured on displays throughout. The budget of the video is $ 7 million.

5.    30 Seconds to Mars – From Yesterday. The band paid $ 8 million to get access to the entirety of People’s Republic of China. The whole cost is $ 12 million, and it is the most expensive music video in the world so far.

Top 5 Celebrity Appearances in Music Video Clips

We all know that attracting actors and actresses to your music video clip or a promotional campaign is the right step to success. Some singers and bands know this for sure because they frequently resort to celebrities help when filming a music video. Actually, I love making out Top lists such as Top 10 Irritating Commercial Videos or Top 10 Sports Movies Ever. Today I have Top 5 Celebrity Appearances in Music Video Clips. Here we go.
•    Let’s start from a world known band “Fatboy Slim”. One of their best music videos s by right considered “Weapon of Choice”. In the video stars Christopher Walken. Genius collaboration, I would say.
•    The next singer to remember is Michael Jackson. As far as I know, the singer himself directed the video to “Remember the Time” song. The budget of the clip impresses the imagination, still more impressive seems that three celebrities at a time stared in it. Thanks to Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, Iman, and, of course, Michael Jackson, for a gorgeous video.
•    Another star heavy music video clip presented Jamie Foxx. His “Blame it on the Alcohol” video gathered together Samual L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, and Ron Howard.
•    I cannot but remember Elton John who successfully collaborated with several world known celebrities while filming video loops for his album “Song from the West Coast”. Among his stars there were Elizabeth Taylor, Mandy Moore, Justin Timberlake. The most populat video from this album appeared to be “I Want Love” with Robert Downey Jr. in the post rehab period.
•    And the last music video for today is Aerosmith’s “Cryin”. The band involved several stars to collaborate with them. Among them there are Josh Holloway and Stephen Dorff. It is worth mentioning the name of Alicia Silverstone separately. You can see her in several Aerosmith’s works. She was their muse during that period of time.
