Whether you’re in school now, a graduate, or have never even attended them, the enduring popularity of movies about college is undeniable. These movie videos exemplify some of the funniest and most inspiring aspects of college life. That is why I decided to make a list of college movies that are considered the best in the genre, so you might want to watch them.
• Legally Blonde. When a blonde sorority queen is dumped by her boyfriend, she decides to follow him to law school to get him back and, once there, learns she has more legal savvy than she ever imagined. The comedy features Reese Witherspoon as this bubbly, outgoing girl.
• Good Will Hunting. The film that put Ben Affleck and Matt Damon on the map, Good Will Hunting is a tale of a janitor who has a secret gift for mathematics. The movie explores the boundaries between academics and those from blue-collar backgrounds, something which Damon’s character struggles with.
• Wonder Boys. An English Professor tries to deal with his wife leaving him, the arrival of his editor who has been waiting for his book for seven years, and the various problems that his friends and associates involve him in.
• Dead Man on Campus. Two college roommates go out and party, resulting in bad grades. They learn of the clause that says, “If your roommate dies, you get an A,” and decide to find someone who is on the verge, so to speak, to move in with them.
• Back to School. While having a millionaire dad may be a popular daydream, your dad showing up to go to school with you is undoubtedly a worst nightmare. Rodney Dangerfield does just that in Back to School, where he tries to excite his son about school by attending alongside him. Predictably, he finds himself more than a little distracted by partying, and unlike his son, he can just pay professionals to do his classwork for him.
