Top 5 Romantic Movie Songs

Not without a reason they say that music is 50 per cent of movie success. That is why directors pay so much attention to the right music, the choice of music band and song. Some succeed in it, other not so much. Below I present you the list of Top 5 Romantic Movie Songs:
•    Meet Joe Black. The music was written by a Hollywood heavyweight composer Thomas Newman. Newman has a unique style of writing, and once you are familiar with it, it’s easy to recognize. He composes themes and reintroduces them in new ways - sometimes lighter, sometimes deeper. As Meet Joe Black tells about death, the soundtrack is somber and reflective, with lyrical melodies and lush symphonic orchestrations.

•    American Beauty. The winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture can boast of an amazingly beautiful soundtrack by Thomas Newman. The music of American Beauty is more of a framework, a hollow shell accented with “mile markers”, which allows the listener to fill in the gaps with their own emotions and feelings.

•    9 ½ weeks. This movie is a blend of sexuality, romance and passion. The main single released from the 9½ Weeks: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was “I Do What I Do,” performed by Duran Duran bassist John Taylor. Hot music for a hot film.

•    Slumdog Millionaire. This album is pretty different from the other songs mentioned on this list. Rahman’s Slumdog Millionaire, winner of Golden Globe for Best Original Score 2009 from a Motion Picture, is definitely a youthful soundtrack fusing hip-hop and the typical Bollywood soundtrack into a modern day upbeat masterpiece.

•    Titanic. It is the most romantic movie ever, and its soundtrack has by right conquered the first position on Top Romantic Movie Songs list. My Heart Will Go On won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Original Song as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1998.

Top 5 Expensive Music Videos Ever

Music videos have become an important part of promoting an artist. That is why singers and bands do not spare neither strength nor resources to make the best, the most unexpected and the catchiest video. But such a video clip requires a lot of money, sometimes budget of the music video can be compared with the one for a movie. Below are Top 5 expensive music videos in the world.
1.    Puff Daddy featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes – Victory. It is not a secret that every rap singer wants to stand out wasting thus large sums of money. In this video they joined not only their talents but their purses as well. Such a cooperation resulted in $ 2,7 million.

2.    Guns N’ Roses – Estranged. The video has become a final part of unofficial trilogy of videos. The price of the clip is $ 4 million. The sum is quite understandable as participation of bottlenose dolphins, SWAT members and oil tanker in the video is too pricey.

3.    Madonna – Die Another Day. The song was released alongside the James Bond film of the same name. The video shows Madonna being tortured in a number of ways while Good Madonna and Bad Madonna duel with a variety of weapons—from fencing foils to harpoon guns—in her subconscious. The total production costs for the video were over $6 million making it the third expensive music video ever.

4.    Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson – Scream. I would call this video no less than a black and white science fiction/pop masterpiece. Both Jacksons dancing along the walls and ceilings of a spaceship while anime and pop art are featured on displays throughout. The budget of the video is $ 7 million.

5.    30 Seconds to Mars – From Yesterday. The band paid $ 8 million to get access to the entirety of People’s Republic of China. The whole cost is $ 12 million, and it is the most expensive music video in the world so far.

1.    Sneak King. A fast food theme has penetrated everywhere. Released by Burger King, the video game has been sold with meals for additional $ 4. In the game you are the Burger King who sneaks up on people and delivers them fast food. The lpayer gets scores when he achieves a certain goal.

2.    Mr. Mosquito. Do you want to feel like a mosquito? Now you have a perfect chance for it. In Mr. Mosquito video game the player controls a funny mosquito whose aim is to store up during summer enough blood so as to survive in winter. Initially, the game was released only in Japan, but due to its popularity it expanded to other continents.

3.   Toilet Kids. This is another weird idea that belongs to Japan. I would bet that there people are keen on such stuff. The game revolves around a boy who wakes up at night and goes to the bathroom. Suddenly he falls into the toilet where he has to fight against horrible creatures. The most bizarre thing I have ever seen. I wonder would you buy something like this.

4.    Boon-Ga Boon-Ga. South Koreans seem to be as imaginative and bizarre as the Japanese. This video game, known also as Spank ‘em, imitates a prank popular with Japanese kids. Due to the badly translated advert, the Boon-Ga Boon-Ga game was rejected off the country.

5.    Parappa The Rapper. The video game was released in 1990s, and its popularity had no limits. A dog named Parappa goes around facing different adventures and learning new raps so as to impress Sunny Funny in the end. This is a rare case when bizarreness won. The Best Movie Video: Top 5 Movies that Are Better than Books

We have got used than as a rule a book is much better than a film made on its base. The reason for it is that our imagination is free to invent what we want and develop the idea of an author. But as we know rules cannot exist without exceptions. So, that is what I would like to discuss today. Here I have Top 5 movies that are better than books, at least according my opinion and preferences.
1. Jaws. The original story was invented and written by Peter Benchley. Later on the film of the same name was shot by one of the most famous directors Steven Spielberg. The story goes about a white shark that turned a small beach resort town in a hell. The film keeps viewers in suspense for several generations yet.
2. Silence of the Lambs. The story was created by Thomas Harris and shot by Jonathan Demme. I bet that everybody knows an unusual story of Clarice Starling and Dr. Hannibal Lector. Silence of the Lambs became one of the best thrillers ever. By the way, to get the feel of the role Anthony Hopkins studies serial killers’ behavior.
3. Gone with the Wind. The most beloved story for every romantic person. The film dates back to 1939, but it is still very popular. The famous quote from the film “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn” was recognized number one by the American Film Institute.
4. The Shawshank Redemption. The story was written by Stephen King and shot by Frank Darabont in 1994. The film as well as a book goes about Andrew Dufresne, his life and relations in prison. No, doubt, excellent and captivating movie.
5. The Godfather. I couldn’t but mentioning the story about the godfather written by Mario Puzo and shot by Francis Ford Coppola. I see this film as classics that can perfectly drive attention.
