It is well known that while there is a demand there is a supply. People prefer various things according to their own tastes and abilities, and those who supply various internet sites with different stuff know it and are ready to give not only food for thought but also mere image of something beautiful, horrific, tempting… in general that can be called just stupid stuff video clips.
They are supposed to attract people of different levels of education, understanding of life and culture, or merely those who are sick and tired of the reality that surrounds them and those who just want to relax.
For some people the best way of recreation is watching movies with deep sense that are thought provoking and deprive them the ability to sleep well at night, though others do not have any wish to load their mind with the fictitious problems that do not have their reflection in the real life. Why should I think about somebody’s troubles? - they may say - I do have my own ones and do not want to spend my spare time on trying to solve them. Just want to have a rest and that’s it! And the best way to keep away from the problems is to busy one’s mind with something else, though stupid, but still…
Some may claim that stupid stuff video clips do not convey any sense and that is why they are not acceptable, though others do not consider it to be a necessity to see any deep meaning in everything.
While reading a book or even a short story we always try to find the clue: what did the author want to say by means of the text? And if we do not appear to understand it we are ready to accept that we are not smart enough to realize it, but do believe that the clue definitely exists! But what if the author JUST wrote the story without any implications, just for fun! The same with videos… It is silly to look for something hidden in simple things. Try to enjoy yourself without thinking too much about the content. If you like it - just watch! And when you realize you are ready for something more sophisticated- then go ahead and search for something new. Remember: there is always room for perfection!
