Finally the third episode of the famous Toy Story series was released in theaters. The opening weekend turned into a sensation as the cartoon as it had a $110,307,189 gross.  The result breaks the record of Shrek the Third as the biggest single day gross for an animated film, and takes the second place for the opening weekend gross. For Pixar animated film it was the highest reception ever.

Now Andy is 17, and he is going to move to college. He packs all his toys in a garbage bag and takes only Woody with him.  Andy asked mom to store them in the attic but by mistake she puts the bag with the toys on the curb. That is when the story starts. But you should better watch the cartoon yourself, it is impossible to retell it, you know that.
The animated cartoon gathered again famous actors whose voices we can hear behind the screen. Among them are Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Michael Keaton as Ken Doll and many other celebrities.

That is curious that Toy Story 3 knocked “The Karate Kid”, starring Jaden Smith and legendary Jackie Chan, who have got a $106.3 million total after 10 days on release. The third place with $13.8 million goes to “The A-Team”, followed by the comedy “Get Him to the Greek” and the animated film “Shrek Forever After”.
The Toy Story 3 has got almost a universal acclaim and 98 per cent of positive reception. Critics say that the movie is a blend of adventure, honest emotion and comedy. They add that a rare sequel has such a huge success, and that means a lot. So, I would not mind watching one more time some pieces of the Toy Story 3 right now. Have a good time!
