The bubbles that pop up in each scary video generally appear about every 15-20 seconds; their content covers various topics. Originally in ordinary music videos the contents of these info nuggets was divided between information about the recording artist featured, the production of the video, and random facts. The “random” information presented in bubbles frequently included statistics and demographics, medical, scientific, and historical trivia, definitions, and lists of a wide range of subjects. Usually the producers attempted to turn practically every popped-up video into a dirty joke.
But it’s sure that the content of the bubbles in the scary pop up videos is quite different from the music ones. There you can see different comments on what is going on. Sometimes you can see there some information, or just the history of the event. Everything is done to make you even more frightened that you originally are. The scary pop up videos wouldn’t impress the viewers in such a degree if there were not these bubbles appearing on the screen. When the producers of the ordinary pop up videos had some success in turning everything into a dirty joke, the producers of the scary pop up videos made great progress in their task. The joke is not only dirty. It’s simply awful.
