Rocketboom: three-minute daily videoblog

We make no secret of the fact that Rocketboom.com was based in New York. The service covers a wide range of various news and create commentory from latest news to weird and wonderful internet community.

Personally, I think Rocketboom.com is on the verge of the online video revolution, because it’s innovative from top to bottom. Rocketboom is a three-minute daily video blog presented in the format of a newscast with a comedic slant.

Needless to say, the site is greatly focused on international arts, tech and weblog drama. Moreover, it’s widely distributed through RSS and presented by means of online video.

And it must be said in what way they do make money?! They turned to sponsorship. YouTube is the first one. Sponsor will pay $3,000 per episode until September, and the $5,000 per episode after that. Rocketboom.com will catch up high level by seducing new sponsors.

They say: “Rocketboom is a three minute daily videoblog based in New York City. We cover and create a wide range of information and commentary from top news stories to quirky internet culture. Agenda includes releasing each new clip at 9am ET, Monday through Friday. With a heavy emphasis on international arts, technology and weblog drama, Rocketboom is presented via online video and widely distributed through RSS.”
