NY Times: video submitting
It’s off to a great start! A great many people now can download their home wedding video through the web. The idea seems to be catching.
New York Times has launched “How We Met” video submissions.
“Beginning Wednesday, February 21, couples who submit announcements to the Weddings/ Celebrations pages of The Times will be able to submit their own homemade videos. We ask that these videos focus on the story of how the couples met and ultimately decided to make the relationship permanent.
Please note that only couples whose announcements have been selected to appear in the Weddings/Celebrations pages of the newspaper will have their “How We Met” videos run at NYTimes.com/weddings. Guidelines for submitting videos are below.”
Here is a guidelines.
Beginning this week, the couples will be offered to upload a three-minute wedding video using a simple tool on the Weddings and Celebrations page.
Not all the wedding announcements submitted to The Times are used. The Times will only post videos of announcements which are accepted for print publication.
