Young people of all generations tend to try something that their parents and grand parents did not manage to try or just did not have the true desire to do this or that thing while being young. Skateboarding is not an exception and today, especially if the weather is fine, there is no rain and the sun is shining all day long you may see quite a number of teenagers with there skateboards in the streets who try to impress the passers-by by their ability to make tricks and not being afraid of any injures they make get.

And it is really so. It is not a piece of cake to show such tricks and to stay calm all the time you do it or even watch. It is really a very extreme occupation but people who are eager to gain one more portion of adrenalin are ready to do almost everything.

It is quite evident that most of the skaters, 74% of them to be exact, are males. Most of them love this sport immensely, but the opportunity to show your strength, brevity and courage to the girls is another benefit the performer can gain.

The girls do not want to lag behind and it is quite normal, especially for teenagers. They pose for cameras showing what they are capable of concerning skateboarding quite willingly, though they are still more careful and less reckless, and may be that is why most of the really extreme skateboarding videos are male performed.

It is important to remember, that even though most of the skateboarders are children and teenagers it is not a game, but a rather serious kind of sport, art, or whatever.
