Have you ever dreamt of embedding clips taken on the CBS? By the way,
how often do you use embedded clips in your profiles, websites, blogs, etc.? More than enough.
It’s true to say that the CBS network thought of this app somehow suddenly. For most of us YouTube gives this opportunity to the audience for a long time. It’s quite natural, isn’t it?
“Today, we are taking the CBS Audience Network directly to the user,” said Quincy Smith, the president of CBS Interactive.
The CBS network has deals with AOL, Microsoft, CNET Networks, Comcast, Joost, Bebo, Brightcove, Netvibes, Sling Media and Veoh. Distribution deals with Amazon, Apple and Yahoo.
“In launching the CBS Audience Network we solidified our position as the most widely distributed professional content provider on the Web thanks to our great video distribution partners. We now want to empower our audience to be creative and deepen their experience with our content by allowing them to share and embed CBS-provided clips to their blogs, wikis, widgets, community sites and whatever else gets thrown our way,” added Quincy Smith.
