Don't you find the TV a very effective brainwashing machine?! The replacement for books and a useful educational tool. Now it is simply a useful method for the government to send subliminal messages and propaganda to the masses, and for businesspeople to brainwash said masses into butting their low-quality products, waste of time, a form of mind control. We are absorbed in watching it, we believe that they put really sufficient information and truth in our ears. Television is mankind's greatest and worst achievement. 'Tevee' is so essential to Americans (and may be to the rest part of inhabitants) that it is mentioned alongside food, water and shelter during cataclysmic tornadoes, flash floods and earthquakes. The early 21st century's drug of choice. A shared illusion, making its addicts think they have friends, a life, access to good information, and the critical thinking skills to form valid opinions. Fatal in large doses. Let's move on to the TV history and TV sets (cabinets). How all this stuff appeared in this world? And what kind of TV broadcast we prefer today.
