Too many TV programs and too many megabytes of the memory of the ordinary users’ computers are devoted to crazy stupid video clips. People nowadays tend to see art in almost everything. At times they seem to forget what it is that used to be called like that. Just have a look! All our personal computers, notebooks and even cell phones now are more like storage of some video garbage that we find funny or thought- provoking.

Of course it is understandable that all people need relaxation and watching some kind of rubbish may distract their attention from their everyday life and endless problems. There is no need even to search anything of this kind somewhere, on the internet, for example, or buy anything. Just turn on the TV! Video clips, music videos, ads the meaning of which sometimes has to be defined with real difficulty.

But what if they have no sense? What if they are made just for entertainment? Of course, it is not bad because every person needs some rest and avoiding any sort of abstraction, and crazy stupid video clips will be just right for such purposes.

But nevertheless and quite fortunately art is not dead! We may still watch really qualitative movies with deep sense and real emotions that could not let us remain indifferent. But watching and appreciating such films and video clips is just half of work. At times you may feel really amazed by the action, dialogues, gestures and relationships between the main characters of this or that piece of art. It is especially true to European films. They are really different from the ones that Hollywood offers the viewers. Feelings and emotions just overwhelm you while watching some of them that even blood freezes and you just can’t help thinking about the main character’s fate, his or her destiny and life in general even long after its ending.

Though of course some find such films too “heavy” and even turbid and this fact somehow irritates them, but others get real pleasure from this vagueness, because as it is said art at times MUST be vague and not understood by everyone, and just selected ones must be able to comprehend…
