Filmmaking industry is one of the largest businesses ever. Movies have taken an important niche in everybody’s life. I personally love to watch movies, but I often get dissatisfied and upset with the plot or performance. That is why I do not want you to waste your time. Here is the list of the top thriller movies according to different polls and experts.
1. The Fugitive. One of the best films ever made from a TV series, ‘The Fugitive’ boasts a perfect blend of suspense, action and righteousness. Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford played gorgeously.

2. The Departed. The Oscar winning tightly wound undercover-cop-vs.-crooked-cop drama featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg and Alec Baldwin is the best Martin Scersese’s work.

3. Seven. David Fincher was the first to find the formula of the ideal thriller. A serial killer bases his crimes on the seven deadly sins, which makes the movie taut and shocking.

4. The Usual Suspects. The end of the film makes you open the mouth wondering how he could do that! Kevin Spacey did the best.

5. Silence of the Lambs. I think everybody knows it, yet if you have not watched this heart-pounding masterpiece it is high time to do it. Anthony Hopkins’s gaze will make our blood stop cold.

6. Deep Impact. We have got used to numerous films where a super hero saves the planet. Here scientists discover a seven-mile wide asteroid torpedoing toward Earth, and president Tom Beck devises a plan to build caves that can protect 1,000,000 people.

7. Eagle Eye. Shia LaBeouf plays a disaffected youth who’s one of a group of seemingly random folks manipulated by an evil Big Brother-type organization into committing acts of terrorism.

8. Fight Club. An office employee and a soap salesman build a global organization to help vent male aggression. But that is not as simple as it seems at first.

9. Inception. Though the film is new it has gained incredible popularity. Just watch it and you will understand why.

10. The prestige. I love the movie about rivalry between two magicians is exacerbated when one of them performs the ultimate illusion.

Blockbuster Video New Release: Shutter Island

The industry of filmmaking does not stop surprising fans of good movie by a great number of new releases lately. One of the latest ones presented in Blockbuster rental stores is Shutter Island.

The film Shutter Island was released in February, 2010. The plot is based on the novel of the same name written by Dennis Lehane. The work on the film began in March, 2008 and finished at the end of 2009. At first, the movie was supposed to be released earlier, but the work took longer than expected. Shutter Island is directed by a world famous director Martin Scorsese.

The story goes about Chuck Aule and Teddy Daniels (played by Mark Ruffalo and Leonardo DiCaprio respectively) who team up to find a criminally insane patient who has escaped to an island off the coasts of Massachusetts where he was kept. During their investigation they face a web of lies and deceptions, and even nature happenings. In the end the things turn upside down when it becomes clear that Teddy is also a mental patient kept in the hospital for several years because of killing his wife. A so called investigation was nothing more than a role play invented by doctors so as to help him live out delusional fantasy and return to the reality.

The first night of the Shutter Island took place as a part of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival on 13th February, 2010. The film critics spot aesthetic taste and intellectual plot. The film appeals the audience by exciting puzzles but does not involve emotionally. Actually, there are diverse opinions on the Shutter Island, but anyway the overwhelming majority of them are positive.

I suggest that we continue health topic passing from physical perfection of Svaroopa Yoga Video to spiritual influence of music. It is common knowledge that every music style is different and unique, and each one has its multiple followers. We have got used to following the news of rock, hip hop or pop music, meanwhile other music styles are often left without proper attention. So today I would like to find some time for one of the most successful Christian bands employing soft rock style. I am talking about Casting Crowns and enjoy some video clips.

The history of Casting Crowns started in the year 1999 when Mark Hall created the project. And beginning from then the band’s popularity has been growing. Now they are owners of a Dove Award and a Grammy Award, which means that Casting Crowns’ work is necessary for lots of people. Their each song is worth mentioning. But it is impossible to do in a short period of time so I offer to watch and to listen to Praise You in the Storm video clip.

Casting Crowns has a rich discography, starting from the year 2001 they have released a new disc every year. Meanwhile, the band’s leader Mark Hall has written two books Lifestories and Your Own Jesus. A very fruitful career, I would say.

Megawoosh Video - Fake or Truth

We have not discussed something risky and dangerous for a long time, have we? We laughed at Stuart Smalley video and talked about sports and fitness, so I even started to miss shocking and dangerous videos. So, let’s get it started.

Have you ever thought about how risky you are? Well, I really have but now I have reasons to revise my conclusions. Several months ago the first megawoosh video appeared in the Internet followed by a flaw of delights, questions and suspicious comments. People argued that the video has a cut at the moment the man disappears, or that the pool should have moved off the platform after landing, or that there is something with a slide because its end cannot be seen in the video, and so on and so forth. There were even those who calculated man’s speed, angle of his flight and probability of his landing without injuries. My regards)

Every megawoosh video has the same scenario: a man speeds up gliding down a water slide, catapults himself into the air and lands into a small kid pool. Here we have an example of such a stunning jump.

Not bad, yeah? But as a megawoosh video started to gain popularity, appeared the first rumors that the video is a fake. So, what is it – a Fake or Reality? Actually, it is a fake but what a stunning one!

Megawoosh is nothing more than a viral campaign for Microsoft Corporation in Germany. The video is composed of several parts. In the first part a stuntman secured by a rope slides down a water slide. Then we see a man flying in the air, which is a result of animation in reality. Finally, the man jumps into the pool from a ramp making a big splash. After some careful composing and editing, the video became a sensation. Good job, Microsoft.

Today we are passing on from keeping fit videos to the hot topic of Basic Instinct video clips. Nobody would argue that the story is dearly beloved by millions of men and women all over the world. In comparison with the Basic Instinct film its sequel, which was released as early as 2006, was a complete failure. Well, it goes without saying that a sequel is always compared with an original. And as a rule an original wins, and a “poor sequel” faces strong critics. Basic Instinct 2 was even “honored” with four Golden Raspberry awards for the worst film, the worst female role, the worst sequel and the worst plot. Impressive, isn’t it?

Basic Instinct release dates back to the year of 1992. But it was before the release when the first explosion of polemics flared up. Among others Basic Instinct was criticized by gay rights activists because the film involved negative stereotypes of lesbians. Anyway, the film is a real hit surrounded by multiple talks and rumors, which proves its value and quality.

Fourthly, it can reveal some things on your face you don’t like to expose. I wonder that a short haircut even makes you look taller. Though, tall women should be careful not to look even taller. Besides, there are a great number of diverse hairstyles, so every woman can choose something to match her taste and image. Look at the video, yummy!

This list of pros makes me want to go to the salon right now. But we have to look carefully at the list of cons at first. The main con of a very short hairstyle is growing back after the haircut. If you are not satisfied with a haircut, you can do nothing. Only passed the time, it becomes possible to change the image. Secondly, short haircuts need to be cut often. Otherwise, your hair will look messy. But don’t be upset, if you have decided to change your hairstyle, choose first which one do you like. Then it is obligatory to consult a stylist and feel free to change your image.

In contrast to the last time when we discussed Best NSync Music Videos, today we are talking about Glamis or Glamis Sand Dunes. So, if you are a fan enjoy videos below, but if you don’t know what it is let me explain a bit about this destination. The dunes of Glamis are known as the most popular off-road place situated in Southern California at the border with Arizona and Baja California del Norte.

Best N Sync Music Videos

Hi there, N Sync fans. Today your time has come!Let’s remember those sweet days and share some information and videos of the band. For novices I’d like to add a bit of band history as well.

N Sync was formed as early as 1995 and existed till 2002. It was the teen pop explosion of that time. After leaving the Backstreet Boys, Chris Kirkpatrick decided to create a new pop group. Thus he shared the idea with Lou Pearlman who suggested that they found other singers. Working at Universal Studios Kirkpatrick had a friend Joey Fatone, that’s why the singer was invited in the group as well. One more group member was suggested by Lou Pearlman. The thing is Lou Pearlman looked through some tapes by Mickey Mouse Club and his attention was driven by a talented singer Justin Timberlake. According to the history of N Sync, their fifth member was Jason Galasso at first but only a few weeks later he left the band. He said that the direction of the group displeased him, besides, he confessed that he had never aspired to be a teen idol. Who knows…

The name of the pop group consists of the last letters of its members’ names: Justi-N, Chri-S, Joe-Y, Lanste-N (though originally the ‘N’ came from Jason before he was replaced by Lance), J-C. BTW, Lance is a certified cosmonaut now.

N Synс performs pop soul music. Their distinctive feature is that all the members not only sing well but also dance and have experience as actors. N Sync video clips are extremely dynamic and full of impressing special effects.

Well, it is a pity that such a good group broke up in 2002. After gaining the world popularity and getting multiple awards including Diamond and Platinum Awards, the members of N Sync decided to go their own ways. But we keep listening to their songs and looking for information about its members. Now we have no opportunity to enjoy their performances, there are only N Sync video clips left. On August 30, 2009 closes ‘Fiddler on the Roof’: The Farewell Tour. It will take place in Portland, Oregon. It has only left for classics lovers to wait for another chance to see the favorite musical, songs and actors.
The most popular Broadway musical of all times and nations opened on September 22, 1964 at the Imperial Theatre. Its popularity was shocking. The next day after the opening night it became clear that the musical would come into history. The best testimony to it is 3242 performances for 8 years and 9 months and 9 Tony Awards received in 1965.

Initially, Fiddler on The Roof was entitled Tevye. The reason is the story is based on Tevye and his Dauhters (or Tevye the Milkman) tale.
Fiddler on the Roof was screened as early as 1971 by Norman Jewison. It turned out to be a real success. The film came into top 10 best films-musicals along with “Mary Poppins”, “My Fair Lady” and “West Side Story”. The film received 3 Oscars: the best screen version, the best sound and music; it received a Golden Globe as the best film (comedy or musical) as well.

Local color and singularity of the Jewish mentality, peculiar humor and almost natural optimism of the nation which had got stronger after numerous wanderings all over the world and constant prosecutions, tragicomic emotions of the protagonist observing the collapse of the world — all of it agitates hearts and souls of people throughout many years.

The film is serious and philosophical, despite an abundance of cheerful moments which help to restrain tears.
There are lots of interesting facts connected with the world-known musical. For example, on May 26, 2008 TIME magazine reported that the Fiddler on the Roof became the 7th most frequently performed musical by U.S. high schools.

Nowadays, you can hardly find something as striking, charming and unique as Fiddler on the Roof. So it is extremely important to appreciate such masterpieces and not to forget about them.
