Best Sport Movie Video Ever

Is there anything a sports fan enjoys more than a good sports movie except a sport event itself, of course? Taking into account the huge amount of them, I say no. A good sports movie can make you sit on the edge of your seat, laugh, or even cry. But most of all, a good sports movie video makes you care.
•    Youngblood. If you are looking for the best movie about hockey, that is what you need. I cannot but mentioning xcellent performance of Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves. The film tells about a 17-year-old farmhand from rural New York state, Dean Youngblood who has dreams of playing in the National Hockey League. He must have proved to everybody and to himself that he can do that.

•    More than a Game. Before LeBron James became one of the most unlikeable athletes of all time, this movie helped make him one of the most likeable. The real story here was his friendship with his teammates, which seems to have kept him grounded for as long as humanly possible.

•    Any Given Sunday. The movie is a behind the scenes look at the life and death struggles of modern day gladiators and those who lead them. There are a few redeeming moments, though, none more so than when Pacino gives his locker room speech about inches.

•    Bend It Like Beckham. Well, the movie is for certain age category. In my opinion, it will be interesting only for teenagers, though I may mistake. The story tells about a young girl who is forbidden to play soccer by religious matters, but—guess what?—she goes against her parents and plays anyway.

•    Ali. Will Smith managed to show charisma and strength of will characteristic of a boxing icon Muhammed Ali. Gorgeous story about a legendary person.

Top Fictional Cheerleaders on Video

Some people have an outdated view of cheerleading and think of it as dancing with pom poms. In reality, cheerleading has grown to become a sport that is highly popular among young active people. In the result, every other movie has cheerleading competitions in the limelight. Here are the most popular and successful movies and their fictional girls cheerleaders. Enjoy the list below.
•    Christina Milian—Love Don’t Cost A Thing and Bring It On. Christina Milian is good at three things: looking sexy, singing, and starring as a cheerleader in movies. I would not say that the movie is excellent but Christina Milian inspires lots of guys and girls watch it.

•    Kristy Swanson—Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Kristy Swanson originated the pom-pom-bearing vampire slayer in the movie version long before Sarah Michelle Gellar. And I have to say, seeing a chick in a cheerleading outfit drives everybody’s attention. No wonder that became a geek phenomenon.

•    Christina Applegate—Married With Children. Way before Ron Burgandy wanted to be on her, Christina Applegate was the extremely dumb, but extremely hot daughter on Married With Children. If you were a teenage boy in the 90s, you wanted to get with Christina Applegate, and seeing her in the occasional cheerleader outfit didn’t really make it that much easier on you.

•    Mena Suvari—American Beauty. You know you are hot when seeing you in a cheerleading outfit single handedly brings on some guy’s midlife crisis. Such is Mena Suvari in American Beauty.

•    Kate Mara—We Are Marshall. This saucy redhead only got to play a cheerleader back when they showed about as much skin as Muslim woman in We Are Marshall, but you could see right through the sweater (not literally) that she was a super hottie. This just proves it.

Enjoy Cheerleading Bloopers on Video

It was first in 1898 when Princeton graduate Thomas Peebles introduced the idea of organized crowds cheering at football games. November 2, 1898 become the official birth date of organized cheerleading. Up to now this activity has reached incredible popularity. But even the sun has dark points on it. As agile as cheerleaders are, there are a lot of funny and stupid moments. Luckily, some of them are frequently caught on video. That is why, now we can enjoy best cheerleading bloopers and some curious facts about the activity.

Some people may have an outdated view that it’s just waving pom-poms but if you open your eyes and look at modern cheerleading it’s a lot sportier than many other sports out there. Do you know that 37 per cent of schools offer now cheerleading in PE lessons?
According to teachers, the exciting thing is cheerleading empowers young people to take charge of their lives, to stay fit and active and say no to unhealthy life choices.

In the early 1980s cheerleading passed from being a simple cheering of the public during football or basketball to a real sport activity. Claimed to be the fastest growing sport in the world, it is played in 82 countries, with men and women competing in teams before judges with fast-moving, complex acrobatic routines, blending sports disciplines including tumbling, gymnastics and dance. This sport demands strength, flexibility, lightening quick footwork and, most of all, dedication and teamwork.

There has been debate on whether or not cheerleading truly is a sport. Supporters consider cheerleading, as a whole, a sport, citing the heavy use of athletic talents while critics do not see it as deserving of that status since sport implies a competition among squads and not all squads compete, along with subjectivity of competitions. Anyway, thousands of young active people are involved in cheerleading and feel self-actualized thanks to it.
