Top Music Videos on YouTube

As for me, I always resort to YouTube website in case I need to find the most popular videos in gaming, music, sports and so on. Today my attention has focused on top music videos according to YouTube. So, take your time and enjoy best of the best right now and here.
Tiësto vs. Diplo ft. Busta Rhymes - C’mon. Dutch dance music producer and DJ Tiësto joins forces with the incredible Diplo and Busta Rhymes for the club smash C’mon “(Catch ‘Em By Surprise)”. It has been made actually a really nice song but mainly because C’mon is a great catchy track. It is no wonder that such gorgeous performers gained popularity with their new song.
Firework by Katy Perry. This song was included in the singer’s second mainstream studio album Teenage Dream. It was released as the third single from the album on October 26, 2010, to U.S. mainstream radio. It so far spent four non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. It was also Katy Perry’s first song ever to be added to Radio Disney’s playlist. The song also reached number one in Canada and New Zealand. It peaked at number three in the United Kingdom (should we send her postcards?), where it has been certified gold for sales in excess of 400,000 copies.
I Like It by Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull. “I Like It” is a song taken from Enrique’s first bilingual studio album, Euphoria. There are two versions of the song – with and without American rapper Pitbull. The song reached number one on the Canadian Hot 100 and has became a top-ten hit in a number of countries.
Runaway – Kanye West. “Runaway” is the second single from American rapper Kanye West’s fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The song features rapper Pusha T of Clipse. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 12.

Enjoy Best Music Video 2011 Grammy Nomination Prediction

Today in the evening the Recording Academy will stage the Grammy Nominations Concert Live of the 2011 year, to lift the curtain on frontrunners for prizes come February, at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards. Considering nods were culled from the season that ran September in 2009 to September this year, there may be some old faces, as well as some new. The Grammy Awards Ceremony itself will take place on February 13.

According to music experts, a person who will doubtlessly appear on stage will be Lady Gaga. Though her “Fame Monster” EP/re-released set will pack a punch beside relatively new albums like Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs” and fresh-faced Justin Bieber. Jay-Z’s 2009 album “The Blueprint 3″ will be up against acts like Eminem for honors.
Most possible contenders for Best New Artist Category are Ke$ha, Taio Cruz, Florence & The Machine, Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert. Strong contenders Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars aren’t eligible for various reasons this year, but there’s still a passel of worthy newcomers to chose from, in part because of the bumper crop of new solo pop/R&B males who filled the airwaves.

Who you think can win in Album of the Year category? I personally bet on Eminem “Recovery”, Sade “Soldier of Love” or Lady Antebellum “Need You Now”. It might also be Lady Gaga “The Fame Monster”, Jay Z “The Blueprint 3″, John Legend & The Roots “Wake Up”, Miranda Lambert “Revolution” or Arcade Fire “Suburbs”.

An talking about song of the year, the situation is the following. Forget about production, think about songcraft and how the tune would sound if it were played on an acoustic guitar. Would it hold up without all the bells and whistles?  For pure emotion, “The House That Built Me” wins hands down, but “Need You Now”  appealed to both country and pop fans…and pop and country Grammy voters.

Top 5 Romantic Movie Songs

Not without a reason they say that music is 50 per cent of movie success. That is why directors pay so much attention to the right music, the choice of music band and song. Some succeed in it, other not so much. Below I present you the list of Top 5 Romantic Movie Songs:
•    Meet Joe Black. The music was written by a Hollywood heavyweight composer Thomas Newman. Newman has a unique style of writing, and once you are familiar with it, it’s easy to recognize. He composes themes and reintroduces them in new ways - sometimes lighter, sometimes deeper. As Meet Joe Black tells about death, the soundtrack is somber and reflective, with lyrical melodies and lush symphonic orchestrations.

•    American Beauty. The winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture can boast of an amazingly beautiful soundtrack by Thomas Newman. The music of American Beauty is more of a framework, a hollow shell accented with “mile markers”, which allows the listener to fill in the gaps with their own emotions and feelings.

•    9 ½ weeks. This movie is a blend of sexuality, romance and passion. The main single released from the 9½ Weeks: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was “I Do What I Do,” performed by Duran Duran bassist John Taylor. Hot music for a hot film.

•    Slumdog Millionaire. This album is pretty different from the other songs mentioned on this list. Rahman’s Slumdog Millionaire, winner of Golden Globe for Best Original Score 2009 from a Motion Picture, is definitely a youthful soundtrack fusing hip-hop and the typical Bollywood soundtrack into a modern day upbeat masterpiece.

•    Titanic. It is the most romantic movie ever, and its soundtrack has by right conquered the first position on Top Romantic Movie Songs list. My Heart Will Go On won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Original Song as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1998.

Lady Gaga Reached 1 Billion View on YouTube

Incredible popularity of pop star Lady Gaga seems to be growing from day to day. Every new single of the singer turns into sensation, while her video clips gain all possible awards and beat records of music success. Here is another record of the singer and the most popular music videos.
Recently it was announced that Lady Gaga became the first artist to reach one billion views on YouTube. The singer celebrated the event on Sunday by tweeting out her thanks to her fans, or little monsters, as she dubs them for helping her reach the improbable result. Lady Gaga wrote to her fans: “We reached 1 Billion views on YouTube little monsters! If we stick together we can do anything. I dub u kings and queens of YouTube! Unite!”

There were two finalists - Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber – who was too close to Gaga but resulted unable to beat the record. Though Gaga notched the record first, Bieber is close behind with more than 962 million views, and he’s expected to join her in that rarified air by November 1.
Gaga averaged almost 1.8 million views per day in September, while Bieber averaged around 3.7 million views per day for the same month. Both easily outpace the next closest artist, late pop icon Michael Jackson, who has approximately 600 million views on YouTube.

Talking about the number of views for every music video clip, the results are the following: Telephone earned 88 million, the next is Alejandro with 94 million, then Just Dance that gained 124 million views, and the first place goes to Bad Romance with 297 million views.
Lady Gaga actually passed the one billion mark in total online views (I mean both on and outside of YouTube) in March, thanks to landing three clips in the 100 million plus club.

Watch Music Video of The Worst Actors Turned Musicians

Sometimes it seems to me that among celebrities there is a competition. It is a sort of who can be a popular singer, actor, top model and designer at the same time. There are rare cases whe a celebrity manages to become successful in several fields, but the overwhelming majority of them are a disaster. Below is the list of Top Worst Actors turned Musicians.  Watch their video clips and enjoy every fact about a star.
•    Heidi Montag. After a successful reality TV series The Hills, the actress decided to try herself as a singer. A clearly synthesized voice did not result much better, and the video is a disaster.
•    Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay has had two albums – one in 2004, and another in 2005, but ditched her career after the singles released were a flop. Her songs were about annoying paparazzi and cover up.
•    Steven Seagal. He is a typical action hero of 90s, but that was not enough for the star. Seagal has also released two album in 2005 and 2006. His music wasn’t particularly popular, and the lyrics were a pure cliché.
•    Paris Hilton has tried it all in an attempt to cash in on her random fame. Among her numerous “talents” there is her attempt to become a pop star. The video is writhing around half naked on a beach theme, the trick that is widely used to cover up bad vocals!
•    Jennifer Love Hewitt has had a pretty wide spanning music career despite her voice being horribly bad. She recorded a song for the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack, as well as various other tuneless songs that no one ever really noticed.
•    Scarlett Johansson. The actress released an album that was mostly made up of Tom Waits covers. In the live video here you can hear that she finds it quite difficult reaching all the notes, in fact, there is a bit of screeching and shouting, as she struggles to keep up with the slow paced song.
