If you’re looking for some video entertainment to watch online during your lunch break, web series is the right choice. In the majority of cases web series are a real fun. Besides, I love to watch several series in a row without waiting for a new one. Well, I have a list of the best web series of Fall 2010 according to Visible Measures. Here they are:
1.    The Annoying Orange is a comedy web series created by Dane Boedigheimer. The first episode was uploaded on October 9, 2009. Originally, the episodes were uploaded to Boedigheimer’s YouTube channel as well as to the channel and website attached to his company. The show features an animated talking orange called Orange who heckles other fruits, vegetables, or nearby animated objects, with puns and laughter.

2.    Auto-Tune the News is one of the most watched and blogged about web series on the Internet. Created by the Gregory Brothers, the series uses real video clips like news broadcasts, viral videos and other talking head content to create funny music videos.

3.    Fred is the next on the list. Fun and jokes from the young boy Fred are highly loved by multiple people. This fall the series has gained 8 per cent to the popularity. There must be a good reason for it.

4.    Happy Tree Friends is a Flash cartoon series by Mondo Mini Shows, created and developed by Aubrey Ankrum, Rhode Montijo, Kenn Navarro and Warren Graff. The show has become a popular Internet phenomenon since its debut and has also won a cult following. As indicated on the official site, it is “not recommended for small children”. Despite its childish appearance, the show is extremely violent, with every episode featuring blood, pain, and gruesome deaths.

5.    Totally Sketch features original, edgy, comedy videos shot in high definition. This is a new series that came out this fall.

On July 9th in the United States was released a new film from Universal Studios and Illumination Entertainment. Only a week passed from the day of release of American computer-animated 3-D feature film Despicable Me, the first results testify that it is going to be a sensation.

In a peaceful and quiet suburban neighborhood there is a black house that belongs to super villain Gru. The house hides the army of mischievous little minions that work in the laboratory of Gru. At the beginning of the film Gru and all other people get to know that the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt has been stolen. To reinstate his prestige Gru invents a plan of stealing the Moon. But another super villain Vector, who by the way, has stolen the Great Pyramid, does his best to interfere with Gru’s plan. The most curious fact is that in spite of his gloomy and reserved character Gru starts to bond with the three little orphan girls. Actually, that is a part of his sinister plan but who knows how the story will end up.

I cannot but mentioning some curious facts about the movie. At the end of the film when Gru organizes a party we can see a DJ stand with ‘Gru-ray disc’ label that is parody to Blu-Ray. Another parody is V for Vendetta when Vector kidnaps the girls and leaves a letter for Gru with the girls’ scribbles and his signature - a letter V in the center.

The overwhelming majority of critics agree that Despicable Me is much more than a pastime for kids, it is an example of smart, cute and cheerful animated film for the whole family. Despicable Me is the third biggest opening grossing for an animated film in 2010 behind Toy Story 3 and Shrek Forever After.

I suppose everybody associates his or her childhood with gorgeous cartoon made by Walt Disney. Sure, other animation stories are also very popular, for example, the one about The Simpson’s Family. But I would not compare them, as the first one is a history itself while the second one is a spirit of modern days. Here I have some documentary video about the history of Walt Disney World.

Now Walt Disney has turned into a fascinating world where families from all over the world come and enjoy its fabulous atmosphere. Walt Disney World Resort features 23 themed hotels, 4 theme parks and 2 water parks. Now the place occupies the territory of 30,500 acres, which equals the size of San Francisco. By the way, did you know that when Disney’s Magic Kingdom opened as early as 1971, a ticket was available at $ 3.50? Well, for that time the price was not low as well. These days the place is visited by more than 46 million people every year.

How Walt Disney Cartoons are made
The wonderful technique of hand drawn animation, started by a legendary Walt Disney, was followed by the majority of animator. And even taking into account development and wide usage of computer technologies, hand drawn cartoons are still considered the best ones.
Parks and hotels in Disney’s Magic Kingdom resemble a great tradition of animation world and about the greatest person who set up Disney World. You know, there is hardly any other example of such a rich history and such a big success. It is a pity that Walt Disney himself died before his magnificent masterpiece was finished.
