Pranks are different – some of them make us all laugh for the rest of the day, while other scare wits out of us and we sometimes end up in thinking that this prank was a bad thing to do. Electrocution pranks leave us in two minds. On one hand, it was funny to watch somebody so scared, on the other hand we feel sorry for this person because he or she took it for real, and in reality such things very often have a bad ending. Watching it is not so shocking as watching hurricane Hugo video clips, but still – electrocutions are dangerous.

These guys are funny, though my first thought was that if such situation had happened for real – then the guy with a banana wouldn’t have been able to help his friend. He was confused and scared, and that would slow down his reaction and pare down the other guy’s chances to survive.

But besides electrocution pranks there are situations when people really receive a current rush. The lucky ones get away with a fright and some pain that is gone with time, but others get heavily injured, not to mention fatal cases. That’s why we should always be careful while working with electrical appliances and repairing them. Make sure there’s no water or other liquid around your working space. Avoid using electric appliances that have bare wires. Remember that your bathroom is not the right room for using such appliances: try to use your hair dryer somewhere else. Before tinkering anything, make sure that it’s not plugged into the wall outlet and always have somebody else around. In case you do get electrocuted, this person may save your life.

In the 20th century the USA suffered twice from hurricanes of the 5th category (in 1935 and 1969) and 14 times they were attacked by the hurricanes of the 4th category. An average hurricane leaves damages that are worth 300 million dollars.

The most destructive hurricane was Andrew in 1992, the USA has lost 26.5 billion dollars and 250 thousand people were left homeless. Luckily there were no fatal cases, but all the train crashes video clips aren’t twice that scary as a the hurricane. And the second strongest hurricane was Hugo in 1989: it has left the state of South Carolina very much destroyed. There was a loss of 7 billion dollars, 809 thousand houses were destroyed and – the saddest part of the hurricane – 39 people died. This September it will be 20 years since these terrible events happened.

Hurricanes are typical for the eastern coast of the USA and the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Nowadays scientists have developed quite precise methods of predicting the oncoming hurricane and it give people some time to evacuate from the dangerous area. Nevertheless, it doesn’t stop disasters from happening. It is said that every 7-9 years hurricanes activate in the northern Atlantic, and the scientists are sure that such activity will happen during next 20 or 30 years.

Some Analytics say that storms and hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico are the reason of the growing stock price of oil. Information on the hurricanes also affects the price of such agricultural products as cotton, sugar, wheat, orange juice and coffee.

“A 19-year-old man drove a car into the path of an Amtrak train, killing himself and four young friends…”

There can be hardly found a month in the life of our planet that has passed without people hearing such words from their TVs or reading about such accidents on the Internet or in the newspapers. The further is our progress, the more dangerous world we create - the world where watching self defense martial arts videos is not enough to survive. Somewhere inside people are still just some creatures that don’t know anything about the rules and risk their lives unreasonably, hoping that they will be lucky this time. There are also a lot of careless drivers that deem that road signals, traffic lights and roadway gates are not for them.

How many times have you seen something like this?

How many lives are taken away just because of people’s carelessness and inattention?

Though here I give you the clips where no one is said to be killed, only injured, nevertheless, there are lot of fatal cases with a sadder ending. We should all take care. There are special road signs, roadway gates and other ways of warning everybody that a train is coming. Trains are essential in our live – they carry a lot of goods and resources and serve as a convenient means of transport, but if we check the list of rail accidents (since the year of 2000 only) – we will find a huge number of train crashes. These iron giants are huge and heavy, they can’t stop straight away, but we CAN.

We all fear death but it looks like some of us love to play with it. How can we be so unconcerned about our safety? What shocked me on this video, that there were family cars, and probably, there were kids inside.

Thousands of commercials are being created in order to save our lives and in hope that we will look, listen and live.

Modern world is full of dangers: busy roads, roaming rivers, shark attacks, lightning and electicity strikes and so on. But there is still another danger – the man itself. Homo homini lupus est, or in other words – we all live in a dog-eat-dog world where you can be robbed, raped and killed if you don’t take precautions and don’t learn how to defend yourself.

If you care about your safety and the safety of your family and friends, then you can learn some self defense tricks from different martial arts. Taking up a course can be very helpful in dangerous situations; moreover, it’s a very efficient way of spending your free time, a sort of a hobby that you can enjoy and share with other people.

Below you may see some examples of self-defense. But let’s hope that you’ll never need to put these tips to practice.

But taking up martial arts is not the only solution. If you happen to get in a dangerous situation by bad luck then you should remember that action is important. Don’t mull over what to do – do something right away. Bad guys usually count on your unawareness and confusion; they don’t expect you to put up resistance. Don’t let them scare you. Avoid ‘bad’ places: dark streets, unknown houses and wasteland areas. It might be helpful to take some means of defense with you, if you’re going somewhere alone and in the evening. A usual penknife may save your life. But don’t try to fight if you managed to get away – use the bad guy’s confusion and simply run to the safe place. Always check behind your back if you’re in a dangerous place and avoid listening to a music player – it’s not worth loosing you money or life. Take care.

It is Monday again, and we have decided to begin a new hot working week with a good belly laugh. Today the main attraction of our attention will be men. We have already discussed the public oops video where the main roles were played mostly by women. But while the latter find quite easy solutions to the problem and behave as if nothing has happened, men are a bit the other way. On the other hand – men love the attention even in such silly moments, that’s why videos with them starring are sometimes way much funnier that videos with women who to cover up the accident quickly. Well, let’s watch!

Being a man is an art full of obstacles – and sweets are one of them. Who said that only women like chocolate and candies? Men are the real chocolate lovers, that’s for sure.

Snickers Manly Funny Exclusive Ads - Funny videos are here

But the thing they like more than anything else is sports. Men can’t live without thinking about soccer, basketball, baseball, snooker etc. They probably deem that if they concentrate better on the broadcasted game their team will win. Nevertheless, while men gather to talk about sports, women get together to talk about men. Women remember everything while men don’t – that’s why some of the moments of the broadcasted sports event are usually repeated.

But still, almost all the men on earth are defenders and bread-winners, or at least, they try to be. They are working towards being strong, tough and businesslike, but in fact they are vulnerable, sensitive and funny.

After quite a positive post about black panther sighting videos I’d like to talk about some not so positive facts. A lot has been said about death penalty in China recently. There are 69 crimes that deserve death penalty by law and about 10,000 people are being shot in China every year for committing such crimes. This number is 5 times bigger that the number of people executed in other countries all together.

Nevertheless, there’s no evidence that death penalty will be restrained or abolished in China. Not long ago in the province of Hunan 100 Chinese pupils got the chance to attend a public execution. Together with other 2500 spectators these kids witnessed the execution of 6 Chinese criminals. Moreover there are some video clips that are being shown on TV during commercial breaks – and the whole country may watch an execution. Chinese authorities think that this will prevent the raise in the level of committed crimes. One of the crimes that deserve death penalty, according to Chinese authorities, is bribery. Among the 69 crimes are also smuggling, procuring, desecration of the graves and money forgery. As you can seem some of them are quite “innocent” but still the price for committing such crime will be the highest.

A lot of people object to such laws in China, even more object to death penalty existence in any country. Amnesty International Organization protests against death penalty, here you may watch its clip – execution the way the executed person sees it.

Anyway, death penalty still exists in many countries, and there are people that support it, saying that some criminals do not deserve to live. And, to my mind, they are right to some extent. There are people that rape and kill children – how can we allow such beasts to live, especially to live on the taxes paid by the citizens among which are the children’s parents?

It is summer already – and many of us start thinking about taking a day off or going on vacation and enjoying the ocean. Bright and cloudless sky, sandy beach, roar of the surf – everything is so fine that we can hardly imagine that something wrong may happen. Unfortunately, there is danger hiding in the salty water and Sharks is the name of it.

Sharks are the most mysterious and dangerous creatures that inhabit oceans. These predators can feel the smallest electric field and sounds of the lowest frequency. Their fine sense of smell allows them to feel a single drop of blood dissolved in a million of water drops. That’s why scuba divers that fasten the harpooned fish to their belts often fall prey to the sharks. Though the shark’s vision is considered to be weak – that’s a delusion. They can see perfectly on great distances. Moreover they can feel the weakest water vibrations and identify their source. Their hearing is also very good, so it’s no use following an old belief that if you scream in the water, the shark won’t bite you. It vice versa: as soon as you make a sound you double your chances to be bitten.

If you follow certain precaution steps, such as no swimming if you have any bleeding scratches or wounds, no swimming alone, no abrupt movements in the presence of a shark, etc. – you may escape the dangers. But some people aren’t so lucky.

Sharks rarely attack without any reason. And there is an opinion that people do more harm to sharks that they do to people. And, to my mind, this opinion isn’t groundless. People sometimes act like unwelcome intruders in the sharks’ home. And isn’t it natural to protect your home and territory?
Anyway, be careful if you are going to the beach. And have a good vacation!

A burnout (a peel out or power brake) happen when you keep your car stationary and try to spin its wheels. Because of the friction tires heat up and produce smoke, which is quite an impressive sight. Sometimes tire are not able to get over the spinning race and blow up. Here’s the first clip that will give you the idea.

At first burnouts were a must at the drag racing: if the drag racing tires had high temperature it enhanced the performance of the car. So right before the start of the race participants did burnouts in order to raise the temperature. It probably looked so cool that very soon burnout itself became a form of competition that attracted many spectators that act as the judges of the competition that pay attention to the style and quality of burnouts and point out the best one. Australia is the most famous country were burnout competitions are held, they also take place in North America. Burnouts are also an indispensable part of informal street racing.

Nevertheless burnouts in public places are illegal in many countries, though the punishments differ from paying a fine up to confiscating the car for a period of time. It happens very often that parents get their cars confiscated because their children were caught while doing burnouts. They get fined up to $500 and also have to pay a storage fee around $15-20 a day.

But burnouts also have another happy aspect: sometimes winners of NASCAR races perform outstanding burnouts to mark their victory.
