TAG Body Spray Commercials Video – A Road To Success

We love attention of the opposite sex and we do lots of tricks to attract this attention. One of the secret weapons of attraction is to smell good. Besides different deodorants that we include in our everyday grooming routine there are special body-sprays that act like deodorants plus a light perfume. One of the most popular body sprays for men are AXE and Red Zone, a bit later a TAG body spray appeared, named so after the old school game, and gained wide popularity.

TAG commercials are very well known for a ‘Consider yourself warned’ slogan flashing from TVs. Some comercials use ‘public oops video‘ to attract the viewer while TAG commercials show us herds of girls chasing the lucky guy who used this body spray. What surprises more, TAG body spray had successively won the teen market. Its price is quite reasonable and teenagers can afford and there’s also the point about attracting babes. Moreover, while men’s perfume is fro grown-up boring adults, a body spray is lighter and not so serious. But hardly anyone knows that TAG body spray was created by Gillette, the brand that associates with shaving and all the grown-up things. It looks like Gillette has run a smart advertising campaign, avoiding mentioning its name to the teen public and presenting TAG as something original and separate. This campaign involved a lot of investment and research, but the results were worth it. Today around 25% of teenage boys use body spray, and TAG can be seen in teenagers’ lockers, bathrooms and desks.

Another evidence of a well-done advertising campaign is parodies. One will never make parodies of something that nobody knows. But there are a lot of people and students that try to create similar commercials, some of them are as good and funny as the original ones.
