Paul Singh, one of the founders of interval.in, answers a few our questions.
1. Can you tell us a little about yourself and your service? Why did you name the service “interval”?
Interval.in is an online movie portal dedicated to consolidating the best Indian movies, Songs and Comedy skits on the web and bringing it to our users in a neat and orderly fashion. The term ‘interval’ refers to halftime, intermission or middle of a movie, and is sometimes displayed across the screen during a break in Indian movies. It’s the perfect domain name for an Indian movie site:)
2. What makes Interval.in stand out among all the like services available?
There are a number of things that Interval.in has done that sets us apart. Besides being primarily dedicated to Hindi Movies, you will notice there is no clutter on the site. The only text that is displayed is in relation to the movies such as Cast, Synopsis, Plot, etc… Also you will notice NO pop ups as a lot of our competitors show. Currently there are NO ads displayed anywhere on the site. We may have to alter this a bit as there have been quite a few inquiries, and private funding can only take you so far.
3. What’s your university-level education? Degree maybe?
Some college.
4. Are you specializing in a particular area of video technology, tools, software?
Familiar with PHP/MySQL and am starting to grasp a few different areas of online video technology, but specialize in online sales/marketing.
5. Can you tell us about your hobbies and interests?
Well, since the launch of Interval India, that has pretty much been my hobby and my interest over the past month. Enjoy investing in the stock market, working on my sites (currently at approx 60), play basketball quite regularly (3-4 days a week), spending time with my 2 year old daughter. She has quite a keen interest in watching Indian Movies, especially the songs.
6. What do you do for a living? Your day job?
I have been working for an online price comparison engine as sales & marketing manager. Been with the company for 8 years and it has taught me everything I know.
7. Which is the better video (movie) in your opinion? (on Interval.in )
Depends on what genre of movies you like to watch, but here is one of the newer Indian movies on the site - Namastey London
8. How much further has web TV and online video gone?
As ’storage’, ‘mobile’ and ‘last mile bandwith’ becomes more competitive, online video sites and web media will thrive. We have only touched the iceberg in this space.
9. What is your favorite video search engine/video sharing web-site? Why?
No bias here, but I have been spending a lot of time on Interval.in since the launch. I enjoy watching Indian movies and like to see everything consolidated in one place in a neat and orderly fashion as the site does. We are currently in Beta v 2.1.
10. Do you have any parting words?
Thank you for your inquiry Alex. Your site has been added to my favorites, and I hope to enlighten myself by reading more of your articles.
P.S. Thank you so much for an interview, Paul!

Not long ago folks got a nice chance to play video games, watch various videos via web TV and through Blu-Ray player (PS3). And now just another good opportunity for gamers: Nintendo Wii users can watch videos online on Moovee.tv by means of Internet browser on the Nintendo Wii game console.
I suppose founders of moovee.tv took a decisive step to attain a lot of potential viewership and gamers in an early stage. Join the service, invite friends to graze moovee.tv, watch channels, share clips, create custom channels and become a mooer!
Besides, they demand from users to be 18 years or older to watch channels like YouTube and Dailymotion, and make use of the site in corpore. Try to ensure themselves against any risks?! Sure thing, who wants to be accused of offensive content.
They say: “moowee.tv brings Internet videos to the living room TV in the form of channels and search. This video content can be accessed from the TV through the Internet browser on the Nintendo Wii game console. The moowee.tv user interface is optimized for TV viewing with the Wii remote control buttons mapped to the application.”

Dr. House’s most memorable quips from Season 4, “Alone”:
Cuddy: “Where did you come from?”
House: “Apes, if you believe the Democrats.”
“Interview? You test drive a car before you buy it; you have sex before you get married. I can’t hire a team based on a ten minute interview. What if I don’t like having sex with them?”
About: House is a critically-acclaimed American medical drama television series created by David Shore and executive produced by Shore and film director Bryan Singer. An innovative take on the medical drama, solves mysteries where the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients.
Content: Gregory House is a maverick medical genius, who heads a team of young diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey. Most episodes start with a cold open somewhere outside the hospital, showing the events leading to the onset of symptoms for that week’s main patient. The episode follows the team in their attempts to diagnose the illness. The main character, DR. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), is devoid of bedside manner and wouldn’t even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. At the same time he is a brilliant diagnostician.
