YouTube Politics: Campaign 2008

Sunday, 29.07.2007

Online video sharing websites keep on presidential contenders promotion. YouTube, Google are around to carry on online election campaign. Lately you should have mentioned loads of political videos on web. There is a reason for these events - it infringes on our interests.

This election period can be called as YouTube election activity as though the maturing of campaign politics on the internet. Hillary Clinton is no exception, who has a highest rating at the time. The latest video released on her website and widely watched on a video-sharing site YouTube, it was a creative step.

Recently I came across a site “Talking about politics” where a guy talks on politics to have a wide distribution. His children and wife turned interest on YouTube and he joined to such sources to know what’s really happenning in politics.

How much should politicians spend on house races? Prices are fluctuating on average from $500,000 to $1 million for TV ads. But if posting Internet videos is free, if any candidate can create and share a 30-second ad or documentary at virtually no cost, this could well mark the end of broadcast media’s rule and mean the end of egregious campaign spending, no laws necessary.

YOuTube and Google render election campaign possible to realize without spending extra money via internet and their site. Those politician figures who chose the right time will derive benefit from political activity.

Video Spam to Attack Video Messaging and Video Sites

Saturday, 28.07.2007

No wonder spammers find the joint in the armour sending frequent email spam to you. Out of sight you have no idea how to protect your email box or video site against these muggles. Folks just took up arms to diminish this curse, when all of a sudden video spam was created and launched to irritate web users.

Don’t want to upset you, but spam will never fade away. You will probably have to expect video spam by means of your daily video site. According to an ex-spammer X, “This is a cat and mouse game so the filters will change and the next generation will have to contend with video content – how do you filter an mpeg? You won’t get email spam in 20 years time but they’ll find different mechanisms to exploit.”

Video spammers will hijack those communications facilities that are around like internet telephony and video messaging services. “By 2015 we’ll have video spam and by 2020 it will be a huge problem,” he added. “If you think images are a problem then imagine a 60 second advert for Viagra at 25 frames per second – there’s no current technology to stop this.”

Anyway I believe filter technology will be smart enough to weed out useless ad and spam altogether. At the same time videos may contain a list of misleading keywords including sexually explicit terms, “Harry Potter”, and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Spam requires ambulant therapy. No time to waste and put up with spam.

CBS Network to Spread Content on the Web

Sunday, 22.07.2007

This fall CBS is going to spread its television content all over the web, namely, it will be available via 400 websites on the web. Admittedly, CBS already has deals with 24 sites including TV.com, Comcast’s The Fan, Slingbox and Brightcove to offer clips and other CBS content.

Out of sight this way CSB will double or treble the quantity of unique viewership. For example, CBS made arrangements with sites like YouRock.com, where online posters go to pick up applications (e.g. show logos) and widgets like glitter writing.

“CBS is al about open, nonexclusive partnerships,” CBS Interactive president Quincy Smith said. “Just CBS.com is not the answer” to reaching viewers, he added, so the network is devoted to going out where the viewers are, not forcing them to CBS.com.

If You Don’t Get One of these Gadgets Now, You’ll Hate Yourself Later

Sunday, 22.07.2007

As recently as some years ago we couldn’t think of any video-sharing sites like YouTube, Revver, Google, Metacafe, etc. which currently give us an opportunity to watch, download or upload different videos. Now we see more and more gadgets and devices for the YouTube generation by means of which you are allowed to put it into practice.

And it must be said video services play a vital role of our lives. You look for interesting and quirky plots on the web. Most of us use devices and gadets to get one or another video twice or more times quicker for free on the go.

Among the services that offer you to watch videos and TV shows directly from the websites are YouTube, Google, MoBuzzTV, Vpod.tv, Squint TV, MobiTV. How acceptable is it for mobile phones, cameras to have an access to video sharing sites?! N-series Nokia demonstrated it some months back. And now a set of cell phones are close on the heels of realizing this idea in kind.

Have a look at the following video gadgets:

Cameras

  • Casio’s Exilim EX-S880 and EX-S77 feature a YouTube Capture mode that streamlines the process of getting video to Google’s premier website.

Mobile Phones

  • The Samsung SGH-L760 is a 3G phone lets you upload video recorded with the phones’ camera directly to Youtube, uBlog and Buzznet.
  • Iphone. The iPhone supports watching Youtube videos, but has no video camera to actually create and upload videos to Youtube.
  • LG KS10 slider. LG Mobile revealed that it will be the second major cellphone producer after Apple to install a custom YouTube interface on its phones. “For the first time, LG customers will be able to film, upload and view videos on YouTube using their mobile phone just as they would be able to from their home computer,” said the company’s president and CEO, Dr. Skott Ahn.

Watch videos and enjoy your mega-cool device.

Flikzor.com Makes Your Life Easier

Sunday, 22.07.2007

Give up typing text messages to somebody you like best, with whom you get on like a house on fire. What I’m talking about is video messages by means of which you can send and receive video comments on your MySpace profile, Blogger blog.

Find out whether your webcam still in good order and come into play! Record your messages, make them funny, weird and wonderful, so that you can paste it to your Outer Post, Facebook, Xanga. In other words, by way of camera show your emotional excitement and state without making spelling mistakes.

I’m convinced that video message service is available practically to everyone who is eager to express one’s attitude of mind. Even if you haven’t got a web cam you can still record audio messages. Attach Flikzor widget to your MySpace page and be ready to receive video and audio mesagges.

They say: “flikzor is a fresh new take on social interaction. Instead of typing to your friends, you can now send and receive video comments (fliks) on your MySpace profile, Blogger blog, and pretty much anywhere you can paste HTML. Don’t have a web cam? No biggie. You can record audio with your mic or simply let others send you messages.”
